| Absolutely brilliant! Coogan, Brydon, Keelan, & Barrio are so natural together it's like they aren't even acting, absolutely brilliant! It will never catch on in the United States as the average Joe likes stuff like Star Wars, Guardian of the Galaxy and that sort of fare. But I'm not an adolescent and I prefer headier fare, I simply can't stomach the action genre except perhaps Daniel Craig playing Bond, now that's a bulldog . | This a bloody series for gawd's sake, so many judging it as a movie...How do these idiots even get around to finding this, never mind watching it. It appeals to a select audience only, and.When i say select i mean British! I have chuckled at and appreciated the banter and gentle ribbing between Coogan and Brydon throughout, and you really need to have that unique British sense of humour to even start enjoying it.... I loved it! |

| I loved this movie, and so did my husband. Still, I'm not that surprised at the number of negative reviews, and the relatively low scores, here on IMDb. The humour is subtle and understated; you either get it or you don't. Personally, I think the way in which Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon spar with with other and insult each other in various subtle ways, is hilarious. | Good but not great, this movie had me smiling throughout at the lighthearted banter, which was apparently mostly unscripted.The movie follows two friends traveling through Spain so that one of them can write a series of restaurant reviews. The focus is on their dialogue while they visit some tourist sights or sit in restaurants. There is not much of a story, and overall the film comes across more like a travel documentary rather than a movie.The dialogue mostly covers food, Spanish history, and being middle aged. | enjoyed first two-thirds of the movie. then it gets dark and sad with an ending we could have done without. fans of the first two like me will find it basically the same. which is a good thing. but I wonder what they will say about the ending, Of course they must have another one! |

| If you need action and major special effects to enjoy a film, this will be your cup of tea. But I was excited to see another Coogan-Brydon venture come out and couldn't wait to watch it on Netflix. Like the Crosby-Hope road movies of old, "The Trip to Spain" repeats basically the same formula as its predecessors. Here, there are new impersonations added to the repertoire displayed in the past David Bowie, John Hurt, Roger Moore , and a cliffhanger ending.
