"The Haunting Of Whaley House" was shot on a budget of 115,000 dollars and twelve days to shoot the entire film: Jose Prendes "The Director" him-self quoted "Actually, everything you pointed out was forced on me by The Asylum. They made me kill tons of people and they told me the day before starting production I might add that I had to have nudity in the movie, and it wouldn't make sense for the main cast to get naked, so I had to shoehorn a scene where a chick gets topless. I tried to make it as obvious as possible what I was doing with that without saying "hey, tits!". As for the Oil Man sequence, that is my greatest regret. With 12 days we had to rush A LOT! And that final scene with Penny was shot in 2 hours, which unfortunately means we had to shear away 6 pages of action. It was a huge, tragic loss for me."No matter what Jose Prendes believes about 'cutting out all the action in the ending', it was still a magnificent film: it shows where talent can take you in Hollywood. Absolutely insane film. The acting was phenomenal and the plot was original with plenty of twists and turns to keep you enticed during your watch.You should not watch this film if you are looking for a serious horror film but to have fun and a few crazy scares. It is a horror film and delivers plenty of thrilling moments for example when they are in the house and at night. The actors are very underrated and I would be surprised if they weren't scheduled for a Hollywood blockbuster within the next 1-2 years. Honestly I think that this movie is the best thing I've ever seen, I was crying like the whole time about how scary is was. It was super good because not only was it scary but it was super funny too. SHOUT OUT TO MY HOME SIZZLE SLICE VANESSA WHO WAS KILLIN HER ROLE! My squad renamed her Wendy in the movie because she looks like wendy from wendys and she slayed that role i repeat SLAYYYYYED! She was basically the only reason I liked that movie. That and the fact that I was dreaming the whole movie that my squad knew how to turn up like them. Loved it. Best. Movie. Ever. Lol. favorite character was the fat one at the beginning who was friends with the one who was hit by a car. It was great, and I don't know why everyone is saying it is so bad. Definitely a ten out of ten stars. Basically the best thing to exist in the history of the world lol lol lol lol. Boobs were a plus.
Okay, lemme say this. When I saw this a few years ago, I screamed and hid my face in my cat. I saw this movie again the other day and laughed my pants off at all the cheesy events in the movie. Oh my god, I laughed so hard I fell on top of my cat, who let out this massive squawk at the beginning of the movie after I started it the third time in a row.
