The Phoenix incident makes you question the nights events. (by gothamschild) |
For anyone interested in UFOLOGY its a safe bet to say you have heard or know of The Phoenix lights-the night strange lights and Black flying triangles were seen by the residents of Phoenix in Arizona. What makes this case unique is the number of witness's. The HOLE of Phoenix.Keith Arem's film is unique in the found found footage genre in that it mixes fact with fiction and actors with real witnesses. The story centres around four friends who, after being drooped of in the desert,go quad biking. They inadvertently stumble upon a dog fight between a flying triangle and USAF jets, who <more> |
Such a cool movie! Watch this on a BIG screen (by zach-99) |
Get your friends together and watch this on a BIG screen. A really cool concept for a film and the execution was fantastic. The characters were well-rounded and the action scenes were very nicely done. I would recommend this to any fan of conspiracy / alien movies. The historical aspect of the movie was particularly interesting to me. I remember the lights over Phoenix and thought it would make an awesome movie someday. However the true stuff is blended so well with the fiction that it makes for a really cool movie experience where you find the line between documentary and feature film <more> |
Wow!!! (by studio_plant) |
LOVED this film! It kept me engaged throughout. Some really beautiful shots as well. The characters were really well developed, and it made me feel so bad for the families. Really well done, I would def rec!!! The mix of found-footage with traditional narrative made this seem like a film that cost 5mm, not 1mm. The performances were incredible as well. I am still not sure if the film is based off of real events, or if the guys were made up......its THAT convincing! The pacing was incredible, the direction was incredible, and the story really had me connected to the characters. Does anyone <more> |
This was a good one. (by LiamBlackburn) |
This was a good one. Haven't seen a good UFO movie in a while. I like the way they mingled the real story with the movie story line. The acting was good. The aliens were'nt that interesting, but they weren't silly or anything. The alien ships were really good, and the scenes with the fighter jets flying over the desert and helicopters were really good. This movie could easily fly under the radar. The execution of the complex scenes was done really well. People need to respect this movie. It wasn't a full-fledge FF but it still worked the way they made it. They also included <more> |

Witness the same type of craft at same time but in the UK (by patxi1460) |
When I saw the UFO in the film it immediately reminded me of an odd encounter I had around that time, and Mark Washburn's review on IMDb describes a similar incident around the same time but I was in England. I was walking home from work crossing an unlit field and looked up to admire the stars on a very clear night when immediately above me flew a very large object which, from the way it blocked the stars was clearly triangular, with three white lights. It was moving very slowly, and what amazed me as I watched it was 1, there was no sound whatsoever and 2, it turned and changed <more> |
