| I was engrossed in the storytelling from beginning to end. Ana de Armas was really wonderful in her role as the Daughter of God. As always there is an uncontrollable need, on the part of the director and DP, to get as many close ups of Keanu as possible. And even with this he blended perfectly as an ordinary NYC detective investigating the murder of his partner in the police department. The supernatural aspects integrated well with the psychological nature of this young woman and her trauma. | I watched the film last night and I have to tell you that it's very different from what I had expected/suspected after having seen the trailer. Well, I guess I had awaited something similar to Street Kings or so don't get me wrong – I LOVE Street Kings but I wasn't sure why Keanu Reeves would do another cop movie . But it's VERY different! It started out a bit slow and it is a slow movie in the positive sense, not your average action packed cop movie. | I have watched this movie at the local cinema and I really love it.A girl saw some unusual thing at the underground train station. A cop lost his partner and good friend which was brutally murdered.Is the 2 incident related ? The story is dark, a lot of twist and it is not a ghost movie. You will only know what this movie is all about at the end of the story.This movie remind me a lot about "the Crying Game". The music really bring out the atmosphere. | Anyone who knows ANYTHING about trauma and abuse totally gets the movie. If you don't, you probably don't see how it all connects together. That's OK. there is a lot of hatred for this movie and it's likely because people expect certain movies from Keanu. I applaud him for doing this film. These are stories that need to be told, they can't all be Just for entertainment. |

| The "popular" rating system on movies is something that lets me down from time to time. This movie was an excellent use of my time. Very thought provoking, never one single dull moment. I am so glad I didn't look at the reviews otherwise, I might not have watched it. Seems to me that most of the people who rate movie ratings are comparable to top 40 music music. Menu did an excellent job and I totally see why he took this role. Great movie! I will let you know that is it a crime drama. No shootouts or explosions or and stunt men required. | This movie had not-so-great reviews, but I had a couple hours and I loved Keanu Reeves as a teenager. So I gave it a chance.It was a bit slow in spots, but it gained momentum and revealed itself to be quite beautiful. I don't want to reveal anything, so I can't really say why it's so amazing.Just watch it. Stay until the end. I hope you'll give it a chance. |

| If you're looking for a simple detective movie with Keanu Reeves as the lead, or an action packed adventure, this isn't the film. That's why I loved it. Yes, it is weird, but it's weird because you think it's one story, then it turns out to be another, and then you realise it is actually something completely different. The female really plays the lead role and Keanu is the 'canvas' which takes almost the viewers perspective of initially not understanding what happened. However, the film makes perfect sense and the surreal parts tie into the final conclusion. <more> |

| If you'd like a little excrs for your brain and a little mysterious movie genre, maybe you'll like this movie. | i don't understand why so many reviewers say so bad of it the acting is great the photography is great and the style of telling the story is what is great about this film ,well done for the director also creating a great ambiance the lead actress has a magnificent performance and her candid figure was explored by the photographers to a great deal ,it really goes for a topic that has been always delayed or avoided by many directors but here is dealt with a hint of surreal to hide a MH problem a scar from childhood and a social problem it makes a critique to how we assimilate or hide our <more> |
