A Fun Movie (by kanona29) |
I'm not going to write a synopsis of the movie since everyone else has done that and besides I want you to go check it out for yourself. If you love animation please do not pay attention to the negative posts here. The movie was pure fun with a few sentimental moments here and there. I think people nowadays have forgotten that movies are there for mostly entertainment purposes. When you can't even enjoy a fun family flick like "Chicken Little" anymore you know something's wrong. Or maybe people are too busy comparing it to Pixar to give it a real chance. who knows? The <more> |
My kids are still talking about it... (by kathryn-behm) |
I took my 7 and 9 year old sons to see this movie on Saturday. The theater was packed, this was obviously a popular movie on it's opening weekend. To be honest, we LOVED this movie. The visuals were stunning, the jokes were funny, the soundtrack was amazing, and the plot was great...with a great message throughout the movie. This is a movie you don't have to be scared to take your kids to, there are no underlying "sexual" references. It is a good, clean, Disney movie. We can't wait to see it again, and I might just fork over the money to see it in the theater again! We <more> |
Great Flick (by warholsdiaries) |
Hi, Not a huge fan of the Disney animation as of late. Upon learning they changed their system, I was interested in seeing this Chicken Little. I went to an advance screening, and I was totally impressed. It contained a lot of "queens" English for those in the know, a nod from the inner boys at Disney to us in the audience. bravo!the humor is totally geared toward adult, not dirty, but adults who are paying for their kids, or nieces/nephews will like it. at some points we were laughing with tears.the animation style is superb. pixar, eat Disney's dust. the color scheme on par <more> |
'Little' Is A Lot To See (by ccthemovieman-1) |
This is yet another of those recently-made animated films that is outstanding. They "Polar Express," "Robots," "Cars," "Madagascar," "Barnyard," "Ice Age," etc. all seem to have the following positive characteristics that I found in this movie:1 - Fabulous colors; 2 - Great artwork; 3 - likable, humorous characters who care about; 4 - excellent jokes, both visually and audibly, many that make adults laugh; 5 - excellent surround sound that is entertaining in itself; and 6 - a nice story without a lot of sexual innuendos and other <more> |
Great film, excellent humor!! (by clmeador) |
This movie had a very clever premise and original characters. In addition, the voices were terrific and the dialogue was funny enough to appeal to adults as well as children. Not to mention the animation was great. My kids were glued to it, which is rare. Many of the animated movies have slow points, and this did not! It also had clever touches in the way it was animated; Chicken Littles action sequences were very memorable. I also enjoyed the sci-fi factor, which included some clever parodies of some classic sci-fi movies.I am surprised by the negative reviews, the movie was great fun! <more> |
Great Film for whole audience this year's Shrek! (by alliwantson) |
I LOVED this Film! It was excellent! I found it comparable to Shrek 2 with it's great use of song to compliment the story line and great cultural references for the older audience. Go see this immediately! You'll fall in love with Fish Out of Water and of Corse Chicken Little. Those in a audience who thought they were "too hip" to be at the screening suddenly joined in, shouting encouragements to the screen, I kid you not! I'm not one to laugh out loud at a film and yet I found myself doing so several times. There is one or 2 scenes that the kiddies might be anxious <more> |
An excellent first movie (by Caia1972) |
My son is four years old and I decided that his gift for the second day of Christmas would be his first trip to a movie theater. We scanned the list of titles now playing and Chicken little was pretty much the only option. Narnia or Cheaper by the dozen, for instance, are for much older kids. Mine found Shreck boring he never had the patience to watch the whole movie on DVD . The same goes for Finding Nemo and pretty much every other movie I tried to make him watch, unless it was after some TV show. I was beginning to fear that we are doomed to watch nothing but Power Rangers forever. But <more> |
It is like Old McDonald's Farm meets 'War of the Worlds' sort of . (by Movieguy_blogs_com) |
In 'Chicken Little' Zach Braff is the voice of Chicken Little, a misunderstood chicken. Nobody wants to listen to him because the townsfolk think he is nuts. No one can be convinced that the sky is falling. However, once alien ships start showing up to disintegrate everything, animals take notice. This is a very funny animated flick. It is like Old McDonald's Farm meets 'War of the Worlds' sort of . The kids will really enjoy this. All the characters are really well developed and contribute in their own special way. The adults will enjoy a lot of the jokes as well. There <more> |
Lot of fun (by michaelriffe) |
My 15-year-old son and I went to see this and he quoted from it all the way home, which can be annoying but gives you the hint that even he found it reasonably enjoyable. The animation is spectacularly detailed, to the point of conveying much of the characters' feelings and communication by the facial expressions of among other things a chicken, which requires something beyond the normal stock of canned emotions "Shock!" "Adoration!" "Ennui!" . The storyline deals with parent-child communication and goes over some ground that is familiar, but the approach <more> |
