"Inception" has a Contender (by JeffGoldblumsToilet) |
I have been waiting months for this movie. My mom dropped me off at the theater for an early screening in my town. I still have a promo shirt for the first C&Ds movie so I wore that. I'll get to the actual movie now.The special effects are amazing. Especially when the dogs are flying. I have no idea how they got those dogs and cats to fly around on hover crafts and stuff. I really don't think any computer graphics are used. If they are, they are REALLY GOOD! I certainly can't tell! This movie will give Inception a run for it's money! I wouldn't be surprised if this <more> |
Cats & Dogs (by NinjaGirl132905) |
I cannot believe that this movie has such a low rating. It is a kid's movie people! You have to take it for what it is, it's not meant to be a mind provoking film! I thought it was pretty funny and I enjoyed it. It's much better then the other movies for kid's that have been released lately. The movie was excellent and I especially thought Mr. Tinkle's performance definitely stole the show once he was on screen. There were many scenes throughout the film that had me laughing so hard I cried. If you do not like kid's movies then don't see this- plain and simple! But <more> |

Movie for children or adults who really understand children! I am a guy, I have 33 years old and I really enjoy their world, kids world. The team who make this film I think they are big children too. Congratulations, with such folks the world can be change by honest people, slightly naive, happy and a little crazy ... as well as children are.I appreciate less the fact in the movie they used colorful language such as: hell, crap, stupid, etc. , but times have changed, when the porn knocking on our door, via the internet. Personally I see this as hardening.PS: Excuse my English, I are Romanian <more> |
A very cute, but non serious movie. (by elomusic) |
I'm 57, the wife is 54, no kids or grandkids.Frankly we thought the movie was really enjoyable, but we tried to see it through the eyes of innocence. There were some parts I actually got a laugh out of, even at my age. I loved the part where it was announced to congratulate a dog on his son, son, daughter, daughter, son, daughter.....just one of those clever parts that you have to pay attention to catch.I loved the opening credits and Shirley Bassey theme, straight from James Bond and very clever.Sometimes we need a change from the movies we watch. Movies are so much more than cutting up <more> |
Better than the first. (by fantasyfilmsman) |
First off let me start by saying if you thought the first one sucked than you should probably steer clear of this one. If not though you should defiantly check this one out. Overall the story moves much faster, is loaded with more laughs and the SFX are cleaner and better. All the major players from the first one are back, but that doesn't mean you need to see the first one to enjoy part 2. The new hero introduced is a German Shepard named Diggs that is a police dog in a funny and inspired opening. After Diggs disregards his police human master and blows up a used car lot Diggs is Jailed <more> |
Ignore the nay-sayers, it's a fun, cute film. (by ScarletPimpernel64) |
It's not quite up to par with the original, but this film still holds its own. This is fun to watch, and is rather clever and has its own gags, making fun of some of the gags from the earlier film. As with the earlier movie, there are homages to classic pictures. There are also some lessons dealing with getting along and obedience without beating the children over the head with them. This is an entertaining movie and one that is for the entire family and one hundred percent enjoyable. I'm forty-six and laughed all the way through it. If you're looking for a Best Picture Winner, <more> |
We'll be watching this again, again, again... (by philipwing) |
My younger daughter and I saw this for the second time, now, at her request. On opening night it was a replacement for her running out of Sorcerer's Apprentice, on which she ran out spoiler after seeing the villain made out of cockroaches. This for someone who likes playing with live insects, gently enough to catch a bee in her fingertips. Oddly, both nights had about the same theatre audiences, very light. I did not see anybody run out of the theatre, as some of the one star reviewers have noted.I did not see the first one unlike several of the one star reviewers, who seem to love <more> |
