| BBC is a good Ansel vehicle. He is always good value. Egerton's acting outside F&SF Kingsman does a great turn. And Spacey's recent history makes his character even more oily and evil. This is possibly Kevin's last movie because of scandal. But his scandal makes him so much more evil here. Worth the time. |

| Just heard this film made one hundred and twenty five dollars in ticket sales this weekend. The bad publicity surrounding Kevin Spacey has destroyed his box office appeal and his career. He gives a solid performance, but the critics and most of the public clearly are no longer interested. Decent film with some good performances and entertaining enough. However, it is clearly flopping at the box office and Mr.Spacey will be lucky to ever work in a first run film again. |

| Caught this on Showtime not expecting much, but after 30 minutes, especially after Spacey made his appearance, it became clear why this movie went straight to video. It's a shame, it really was a good movie. I don't understand all the terrible reviews. I consider it SJW backlash more than anything else. It was a very good movie. Taron Edgerton and Ansel Elgort do a really good job in their roles as the heads of a ponzi scheme, almost enough to convince me they are decent future leading men.The film ALMOST does a great job depicting the eighties, but it still seemed very off to me. <more> |

| Unlike most reviews on this site I loved the movie. It did feel like somewhat of a WOWS knockoff mostly because of the voice narration but I was entertained. I feel like the bad reviews are influenced by the issues related to Kevin Spacey. That said he laid down a killer performance. If he had the status of a Michael Jackson society wouldn't say boo at what he was accused at #hippocracy. The soundtrack is fanatastic. It's not going to win an academy award but it was worth the $5 I paid on VOD. I've watched it five times. It's worth your time. |
