| From beginning to middle to end, 3 Days to Kill is really a joyride! The team that delivered this is first rate at knowing how to develop a great story. It has shades of The Bodyguard, romance as touching as Message In A Bottle, relationship problems with kids like in The War---so many great aspects and elements that I can't begin to name them all. | 3 Days to Kill is all and all a very good film. Certainly one a wide audience can enjoy. The film is an energetic blend of action, drama and comedy. The film itself seems to be working at it's best in the drama department where we are immediately reminded why Kevin Costner has won so many Oscars over the years. The brand of humor is pretty odd for a theatrical film in this day and age, the comedy seems to be more suited for a film made in the 1990's but it works here to great effect. | Alright so, I just watched this movie and I honesty came into it thinking it was going to suck because it had 5.7 on IMDb, but now it has increased. but I enjoyed the movie a lot. I admit it was cheesy at sometimes but all together I really liked it. It was a very fun watch with my friends, and it had a lot of laughs and alright action. Plus amber heard was HOT!! | People, movies are entertainment. They are about the willing suspension of disbelief.Three days to kill is an excellent movie if you are not looking for something deadly serious. Do I believe there are CIA guys out there who kill a dozen people in a week, and leave that kind of mess? Hell no. This is more like a James Bond movie mixed with regular guy.Sometimes we just want to get out of the house during a long winter and be taken away from all this. | I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to watching this film but I came away with a smile on my face and wanting to write my 1st mini review on IMDb.All I'd say is don't go into this film thinking that it will be a serious action flick as that one thing it isn't.There is plenty of action but also some very subtle funny moments which have been brilliantly put in place touched with a few heart felt scenes that makes you feel a little emotional.Kevin Costner is brilliant in this and he makes Liam Neeson look like an amateur.Well worth a watch. |

| This comic action thriller written by Luc Besson and directed by McG is fun light hearted, entertaining, well acted and well cast.Kevin Costner actually gives a convincing performance as the ill but still efficient CIA agent. The beautiful Amber Heard as a CIA agent is given a variety of looks each one more stunning than the last. Hailee Steinfeld is suited to the role of redeemable teen brat and is quite sweet here. | It is a lot like " True Lies" in that a lot of the movie is played for laughs. Amber Heard fits her role very well. Kevin Costner is great as a man who has spent too much time on work and not enough time on his personal life. That is something most of us can relate too. I see people complain about the subplots but they are what make the movie fun. The character actors are great. Not a miss among them. The chase scenes are good with out going over the top.
